I have researched Tasmanian environments which are particularly vulnerable to human activity. I wanted to contain them in a safe shell. Gather them up to protect them. Yet they are still vulnerable. They require care, thoughtful attention and sometimes well considered repair. It is my hope that these places, these areas of wild magic, will still exist long after we aren’t around to tend to them anymore.
